Big Cypress Shootout
Over the last weekend in February, the Second Seminole War (1835-1842) between American soldiers and Seminole warriors is reenacted in a festival featuring alligator wrestling, archery, hatchet and atlatl throwing, snake handling, storytelling and dancing, craft and Native food vendors, live music and lots of fun for the whole family.
